Univarsity Seeking Advisory Board
Univarsity, a brand owned and trademarked by Konxio Ltd, is forming an Advisory Board to assist the business with continued product and service development.
Univarsity is a tech-focused “start-up” working in the University sector creating “outside of the box” innovative products and services to link student physical activity and academic attainment leading to a healthier student body.
The Role:
We are seeking a diverse composition of Board members from various contexts with expertise and current engagement in university life either as professionals, academics, researchers, students or commercial partners involved in supporting and supplying the HE sector.
The Advisory Board will meet virtually 6 times per year (up to 2-hour meetings-usually at lunchtime or late afternoon/very early evening) and Board members may be invited to events in person from time to time or invited to consult on specific product developments at specific times.
Demands will not be onerous and will be tempered by availability and interest.
The Advisory Board will be chaired by Univarsity and comprise between 8 and 12 individuals reflecting the diverse breadth of the UK Higher Education Sector with up to 5 current or recent students, up to 5 HE Sector related professionals and up to 2 independent advisors from related sectors.
Roles are undertaken voluntarily although it is hoped that there will be the opportunity for small equity shares after successful future investor funding.
No previous Advisory Board experience is necessary -we want individuals who are interested in the university sector, wellbeing, personal development and inclusivity. It is not necessary to have any background in technology or related areas.
