Apprentice Finalist Invests in Ed-Tech and Wellbeing Start-Up Univarsity.
Adam Corbally, entrepreneur, motivational speaker and finalist in BBC’s world-renowned 'The Apprentice’, has invested in award-winning start-up Univarsity and joined as Customer Engagement Director, to help drive their mission to improve the academic performance and mental health of students using physical activity.
Adam started his first successful business selling fruit and veg on a market stall in his local town, inspiring him to test his entrepreneurial skills on ‘The Apprentice’, beating thousands to get on the show and becoming a finalist in 2012. This offered him a springboard to develop other business interests and hone his skills as a motivational speaker. Adam now runs several businesses and has given motivational talks across the UK to over 700 Schools, Colleges, Universities, and corporate events, inspiring over 150,000 people to date with insightful messages about self-improvement and the importance of looking after your mental health.
With Univarsity’s ground-breaking Wellbeing Ed-Tech solution, YouPlus, Adam has seen a golden opportunity to further his passion for ‘good’ business in the education sector.
YouPlus provides an inclusive and bespoke method for changing behaviours and perceptions by motivating students to engage in physical activity, take care of their mental well-being and improve their academic attainment.
